I had to find out who this Brit was who took my idea so I interrogated him for a second last night. Check it.
KOB: Did you come up with this idea all by yourself? Dew tell.
THIEF:I came up with the idea whilst sat on the beach (Ibi za - show off) wondering how I was going to stop my towel flying off down the other end of the beach every time I went for a swim. The beach cleaners had done a fantastic job of clearing any pebbles and stones every morning which may make the beaches look stunning but removes all beach towel holding down objects. Anyway rather than struggle with flip flops, water bottles and other stuff I thought why not invent a product that solves the problem?' the rest as they say is history
KOB: I think I actually invented this a few years ago. I guess I should be less lazy, thoughts?
You did mention that earlier to me, I think you mentioned it was during the same brain storming session when you invented the television, internal combustion engine and world peace. Three ideas that I also came up with whilst sat on the beach.
Is there anything else remotely like this being sold?
There are products on the market to hold down beach towels but of course we like ours the best!
